ABOUT ME
Hey, I am Adam, a narrative designer and game writer with over 30 releases across PC, console, and mobile. I love making games of all types, from grand strategy, to roleplaying, to hyper-casual, and everything in between. The games I love the most tend to be character-driven, with dialog and content pieces that make me chuckle, but that don't shy away from tough and thought-provoking themes. My favorite game of all time is the classic PSOne roleplaying game, Xenogears.
I also moonlight as an author of horror and science fiction. Literarily, my main influences are Gene Wolfe and Stephen King. In general, whether in games, films, or novels, I gain the most enjoyment from stories with many layers that benefit from multiple re-readings or re-playings. These are also the kind of stories I want to tell.
My skills include, but are not limited to:
-
Detailed world-building, lore management, branching narratives
-
Relatable characters, intelligent dialog, immersive content pieces
-
Scripting (Unreal 5 Blueprint, Articy, Clausewitz, proprietary)
-
Project management tools (Jira, Git, more)

(SOME OF MY) PROJECTS
STAR TREK: INFINITE
Senior Narrative Designer
My most recent release (October 2023). I wrote, edited, and scripted story events in Star Trek: Infinite under the direct supervision of Paramount Pictures. Duties included pitching, planning, writing high-level storylines and choice-based events in the Star Trek universe. Full-time remote position.
60 PARSECS! / 60 SECONDS!
Narrative Designer
Survive attacks by traitorous crew mates, aliens, and other eldritch abominations in this indie smash hit series. I wrote events and branching questlines for "60 Parsecs!" and edited the story content for "60 Seconds! Reatomized," which together have sold over 5 million copies.
VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE
SHADOWS OF NEW YORK
Story Editor
Explore the nightside of New York through the eyes of newly-sired Kindred Julia Sowinksi, navigating a tangled web of conspiracies among rival vampire clans. I provided developmental and line edits for all story texts in the game, as well as some for its predecessor, 'Coteries of New York.'
DEADLINGS
Writer
A silly, spooky platformer in which the player controls different zombies each with their own special abilities (from super hunger to fart-powered flight), guiding them through increasingly difficult puzzle-filled mazes. I helped brand this title and wrote its minimalist, but funny storyline.
Writer & Voice Director
A stand alone story in the TWII universe about a crew of pirates trying to find a mythical treasure amidst a sea of betrayals, intrigue, and one memorably villainous captain. I wrote 50% of the story and dialog. I also directed the voice acting.
